Is an old school darkroom right for you

Just fifteen years ago photos were processed in a darkroom. These darkrooms have been replaced with the digital darkroom (computers and software). An Idaho wedding photographer should consider building their own darkroom to stand out from the crowd.

A lot of equipment goes into building a darkroom. Here are a few of the tools required; easels, paper trays, enlargers, measuring cylinders, timers, tongs and more. Even with todays technology you can still get quality pictures from a darkroom. However, having the proper tools and knowledge is key to your success.

You are going to need a room (preferably with no windows) that is at least 10×10 feet. This room should also have a door, to prevent unwanted visitors, while your processing your film. Another element of your darkroom should be running water. A utility room, in your basement, is the perfect choice for most photographers. Also, make sure their is enough room to move around the area with little hassle. Your darkroom equipment can be found online or your local hobby store.
